Mobitz Type II, also known as second-degree atrioventricular (AV) block Type II, is a condition characterized by the intermittent failure of electrical impulses to pass through the AV node from the atria to the ventricles. This results in dropped heartbeats and can be particularly concerning in the pediatric population.
