MPGN is classified into three main types based on histological findings:
Type I: Characterized by subendothelial immune complex deposits. Type II (Dense Deposit Disease): Features dense intramembranous deposits. Type III: Involves both subendothelial and subepithelial deposits.
Each type has distinct pathophysiological mechanisms and clinical implications.
