The symptoms of neonatal toxoplasmosis can be diverse. Some affected newborns may be asymptomatic at birth, while others may present with severe manifestations such as: - Chorioretinitis (inflammation of the retina and choroid) - Seizures - Hydrocephalus (accumulation of fluid in the brain) - Intracranial calcifications - Hepatosplenomegaly (enlarged liver and spleen) - Jaundice - Low birth weight and prematurity
