In-the-ear (ITE) hearing aids are custom-made devices that fit entirely inside the outer ear. They are commonly used to assist children with hearing impairments. Unlike behind-the-ear (BTE) aids, ITEs have no external components, which makes them less noticeable and easier to manage for some children.
