Administering eye drops to children can be challenging. Here are some tips:
Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the eye drops. Make the child comfortable, either lying down or sitting with their head tilted back. Gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper close but without touching the eye, and squeeze the prescribed number of drops into the pocket. Ask the child to close their eyes gently for a few moments to allow the medication to spread evenly.
