The Nurse-Family Partnership (NFP) is a community health program that pairs registered nurses with first-time, low-income mothers. The program aims to improve prenatal care, enhance child health and development, and support parental life skills. The nurses provide regular visits starting early in the pregnancy and continue until the child is two years old. This evidence-based program has shown significant long-term benefits for both the mother and child.
