Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD) is a medical condition that occurs when immune cells from a transplanted tissue or organ (the graft) attack the host's tissues. It is a significant complication in bone marrow transplants and can also occur in other types of transplants. In neonates, GVHD is a rare but serious condition.
