Cholangiocarcinoma is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that originates in the bile ducts. These ducts are responsible for carrying bile from the liver to the gallbladder and small intestine. Although more common in adults, especially those over 60, cholangiocarcinoma can also occur in pediatric populations, albeit infrequently.
