Toxoplasma specific antibodies are proteins produced by the immune system in response to an infection with Toxoplasma gondii. These include:
IgM antibodies: Indicate a recent or acute infection. IgG antibodies: Indicate a past infection or chronic phase of the disease. IgA antibodies: Can also be useful in diagnosing congenital infections.
