The symptoms of HAV in children can vary, and some children may be asymptomatic. When symptoms do occur, they can include: - Fatigue - Nausea and vomiting - Abdominal pain, particularly in the upper-right side - Loss of appetite - Fever - Dark urine - Pale stools - Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)
