Non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) are a class of RNA molecules that do not code for proteins. They are involved in the regulation of gene expression at the transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels. Two primary types of ncRNAs are microRNAs (miRNAs) and long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs).
