1. Clean the test area with alcohol. 2. Place a small drop of allergen extract on the skin. 3. Use a tiny, sterile lancet to prick the skin through the drop. 4. Wait about 15-20 minutes to observe any reaction, such as a raised bump (wheal) surrounded by redness (flare).
