Growth measurements are taken using standardized tools and techniques:
Weight: Measured using a calibrated scale. For infants, a baby scale is used, while older children stand on a digital or mechanical scale. Height/Length: For infants, length is measured using a length board or measuring tape. For older children, height is measured using a stadiometer. Head Circumference: Measured with a flexible, non-stretchable measuring tape placed around the largest part of the head.
