Common triggers include food allergies (such as peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish), insect stings, medications, and latex. Symptoms of anaphylaxis may include difficulty breathing, swelling of the face and throat, a rapid or weak pulse, skin rash, nausea, and vomiting.
