A high-pitched cat-like cry, medically referred to as a “cat cry” or "cri-du-chat," is a distinctive, high-pitched cry that resembles the cry of a cat. This symptom is most frequently associated with a rare genetic condition called Cri-du-chat Syndrome (CdCS).
