What are the Treatment Options for SVT in Neonates?
Initial management often involves vagal maneuvers such as the application of cold stimulus to the face. If these maneuvers are ineffective, pharmacological treatment with adenosine is typically the next step. In refractory cases, antiarrhythmic drugs like amiodarone or propranolol may be used. In extreme cases, electrical cardioversion might be necessary.
