Muscle Weakness: Infants with MEB often present with hypotonia (reduced muscle tone) and generalized muscle weakness. Eye Abnormalities: These can include severe myopia, retinal detachment, and other structural abnormalities of the eye. Brain Abnormalities: Developmental delays, intellectual disability, and structural brain abnormalities like cobblestone lissencephaly are common.
