- Cell Count: To identify infections or hemorrhages. - Glucose and Protein Levels: Abnormal levels can indicate infections or metabolic disorders. - Culture: To identify bacterial or viral pathogens. - PCR: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) can detect specific viral or bacterial DNA.
