Are There Any Limitations to Doppler Flow Studies?
While Doppler flow studies are incredibly useful, they do have some limitations:
1. Operator Dependency: The accuracy of the results can be highly dependent on the skill and experience of the operator. 2. Limited Visualization: In some cases, it may be challenging to obtain clear images or accurate measurements, especially in very small or critically ill neonates. 3. Interference: Factors like patient movement, poor acoustic windows, or technical issues can interfere with the quality of the data.
