Are There Any Criticisms of Piaget's Theory in Pediatrics?
While Piagetâs theory has been incredibly influential, it is not without its critics. Some researchers argue that Piaget underestimated children's cognitive abilities and that development can be more fluid than his stage-based model suggests.
